Leaving home this time for round two was a roller coaster. We simply love home and the trip has only reinforced the magic words of a little Kansas girl with fancy red heels, "there is no place like home". Unfortunately, clicking them together now won't help us for several months. I thought a quote from my meditation app was worth inckuding here.
It has taken us a week to get to the place where posting is top of mind given extensive travel. Infact, calling home has barely been possible. However, I had ordered from Pixxibooks from the airport boarding our last flight home from the first half of the trip and with a literal click of a button two art quality volumes of the first half of the MWT arrived at our door a few days before we departed. It's magic if you have a blog you wish to memorialize. My Mom and Dad are keeping them safe, and hopefully enjoying them a bit. They are my motivstion to not miss a beat. So here we go!
We jetted to London first and while the stay was only within one day (an extended layover) we were able to see a dear friend and our amazing family in London! Special thanks to BC, W, L&Q for the amazing visits. It was SO awesome to see you. This is the third time we have been able to visit family or with family on the MWT and it is a huge highlight for me. Will, please come find us!
We didnt even stay long enough for sites but S did find her fav LSF shop in Notting Hill a stones throw from our family visit. We may well circle back to London. But further destinations await as you can see from the flight map...
