Stockholm Take 2

We loved Stockholm. It is a vibrant city and feels expansive but manageable. It is an incredible mix of old world eueopean and modern design, with beautifil harbors and waterways everywhere. Our final days were spent on a bridges ferry tour, visiting the ABBA Museum. Yes Mom's FAV! The Vasa Museum with the mega ship that sank on its maiden voyage and was to be the largest in history. Amazingly, its been salvaged and rebuilt with the ships masts extending through the roof. Also the Skansen old town and some delicous restaurants at Riche and Scarpetta. Im continuously noticing how well dressed everyone is, including taxi drivers and outside workers. We found 'Tasty America' to be a hunorous but sadly real view into US junk food. Our room at the Scandic Grand Central was a great find with windows. The family rooms are typically not in the best spots in hotels in europe and throughout Scandinavia but this one had a lovely corner upper main street look out. We enjoyed our wedding anniversary with Scarlett on 9/26!
