Sahara Desert

We found the Sahara incredible as you move from the bustling madena of Marrakesh to the Atlas Mountains and can see the Algerian border in the distance. This is a highly contested area and the Nomads have been displaced to ensure they are safe and away from any border conflicts. Muslim religion and culture is paramount to the way of life and as notable as it was in Qatar. Our guide was incredible, bringing us into family homes and out deep in the desert. All in all Morrocco won 'most exotic' destinations on our trip when you include our desert days.
