Moremi had the most animals and the best food. But 5 massive buffalo decended around our cabin on our last night there so that was interesting. Below is what we saw, learned, and did on safari:
Pangolin like a small alligator but curls up like a massive pinecone. They are so rare our guide had never seen one, as was the case for most of the guides.
The animals with their soft paws, like to walk on the sand roads too so the guides use their paw prints to determine direction
We saw:
23 lions
9 leopards
1 pangolin
2 out of the water hippos
2 bad eared foxes
2 honey badgers
Many bright kingfisher birds
Several dazzles of zebras
A 1000 plus heard of buffalo
100 elephants
4 crocodiles
10 Corey Bastards
500 Impalas everwhere

Our proximity to animals was unnerving and amazing. They dont care about humans as long as you stay fully in the safari vehicles, dont stand or make sudden moves or noises. As a Mom traveling with her own cub just a few feet from massive lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants this was a leap
of faith.
