Pounding the Pavement: A Scarlett Chase Footwear Post

So, the shoe biz post a pandemic but largely developed in a country now further challenged by ongoing and varied global crises is a slog. Our 2100 pair initial order from a factory in Italy also producing Jimmy Choo shoes is overdue for delivery (shocking we aren't prioritized over JC!) and will be received by a warehouse in NH in a few weeks. Those not yet updated should expect a seperate and more formal brand intro shortly via email/text and ideally an invite later in the year to a small brand launch event at our home in the two weeks we are back in town in January. Secretly its more about seeing everyone we miss so much:-) However that will largely be to debute some amazing slip on mules (think a wearable, supportive and walkable Gucci loafer) and ideally some sandals in proto stage we are working on near Porto, Portugal. We will check in on production there next month after we work our way through Africa. If italian stretch suede boots, booties, zip booties or the Scarlett 75 or Amore 55 everyday pumps are of interest you'll want to order with the codes I send to you as 2100 may sound like a lot but its not given the size range (5-12) and colorways. My design partner is in Paris for a month and wont take the italian stretch suede booties (Portia 75) off as she says their custom made for Paris--chic, oh so comfortable, built in rebounding foam that wont take a compression AND you can walk without fear, heel to toe, confident and stable across european and city streets looking like a rock star. Soeaking of streets, Ive been taking pavement shots as we've been walking to demonstrate the challenge for women. These were just over the last few days. Scarlett Chase gives a wearable, walkable solution and I hope to do a campaign around these images. For all the women reading this, doesnt the thought of this pavement in anything other than sneakers make your skin crawl? You spend every step looking at where your foot can/will land?
