There is a Penguin Sanctuary in Cape Town that doesnt require admission. The penguins are up and down a long walk way fairly far from the water. They make such interesting noises. The babies are fuzzy and cute. The most interesting thing we have learned in spending time around animals in their natural habitats is how amazing adaptation is, and spending the time just watching how they interact with each other in their own natural setting. For instance these penguins are really away from the water and in the woods. The middle image is the a Cape Town coast right where the penguin sanctuary is, so they do frequent these rocks as well, but seemed to love the shade of the bushes and dry ground when we were there.
