We adored Hong Kong, and not just because that is where we met up with a design colleague who Scarlett Chase has been working with for many years. The skyline of Hong Kong by day and by night is the most spectacular we've ever seen. While it might have some big city similarities, it differs greatly with its hillside vistas and neighborhoods, lush landscapes, wider streets and more natural light beaming through the city. The city is also spotless, cosmopolitan, energetic and a balmy temperature for day and night. We loved the two story high buses, the tram straight up to the city view which is spectacular, the food was amazing and the window shopping was out of this world with global brands on repeat. Even touring the neighborhoods that are jam packed, the energy and atmosphere is light and inviting. We will go back to Hong Kong! We arrived well past midnight and S found an oversized panda to snuggle up to and somw other road side 'friends' along the way. We even saw some great wall art and buses designed with characters adding to the energy of the place. We even got to see a wedding couple taking photos on the beautiful waterfront.
