We embarked on a multi day road trip across Argentina, traveling from Mendoza a bit north and east up to Cordoba, stopping even further north to see a beautiful monestary and separately, a cathedral. The ride was unpaved in parts and we were surrounded by farm land however the farming seemed minimal other than grazing animals. We caught a great Argentina FIFA victory game in Cordoba, home of Cordoba University which was founded by a band of cowboys. Seeing the world cup from South America has been fascinating. Super fans is not sufficient for the love of soccer here.
We then visited Rosario, the home of Messi, stopping first in a small beach town called Miramar. Our final stop on the driving tour was Buenos Aires where we were thrilled to see some relatives we adore. Buenos Aires will get its own picture post because we so adored the city.
