We took a car from Chiang Mai to Chaing Rai which is usuallly a tour, but for us it was efficient site seeing meets transport. Our first stop was the famous white temple. Well, if you wanted to see the set of Frozen, this is your place. Not sure how religious it feels. More like Disney. But so creative! A wax figure of a meditating munk inside is so real people stand and debate if it is. No pictures are allowed. The white signifies purity. Glass mosaics accent all the facades.
