The city of Cairns was wonderful. They had the most amazing aquarium. We loved the waterfront. This was base camp to visit the Northern rainforest areas and the Great Barrier Reef. Despite being technically the 'rainy season' as noted in the GBR post, it was perfect for us and a bit less crowded which was awesome!
