Blue Temple

Wat Rong Suea Ten, aka the Blue Temple, is known for its handcarvings. The inside is as elaborate as the outside, which is rare. In the temples we have seen. The temple means 'Temple of the Dancing Tiger'. We happened to catch it at sunset, which was lovely. In Chiang Rai in particular, these temples are more tourist attraction than anything else. In Chiang Mai they were older but also felt more authentic.
